Cloud Accounting is an accounting information system that is hosted on remote servers. It provides accounting resources to businesses in an approach similar to a cloud data storage model. Accounting data is sent into "the cloud," where it is processed and returned to users. All application functions are performed off-site, not on the business’s premises.
In this topic, the advantages and disadvantages of cloud accounting will be presented. In addition, the future of Cloud Accounting in education, small businesses, and large businesses will be discussed.
