Penny Li, Director of Admissions of California Institute of Advanced Management was honored with an award for performing her duties as Master of Ceremonies for the Chinese Scholars Association, Southern California (CSASC) event, held on September 20, 2015 at the Pacific Palms Resort, City of Industry, CA.

Penny Li has 8 years of professional media experience as a TV executive in China. During the production of a televised charity event, she organized a media aid project/fundraiser that raised $150,000 for 6,000 children with cerebral palsy. A video which she directed at CIAM in 2014 (Student Consulting: Delivering Tomorrow’s Talent, Today) was selected as the finalist in the 6th Annual Drucker Forum held in Vienna, Austria. The Chinese Scholars Association gathering is an annual event for Southern California Area scientists to gather to share scientific discovery. The event culminated in an evening wrap up dinner. This year, the featured guests included: Dr. Judy Chu, U.S. Representative from California, Ed Chau, California State Assembly member, and Liu Jian, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China. The members of CSASC were honored to have such distinguished guests present at the event.
CIAM is an institute of higher learning, offering an MBA for Executive Management, Entrepreneurship, and Consulting. The program may be completed in 11 or 22 months, and each course contains a consulting component, solving real problems for real local and international companies. The CIAM MBA graduate earns not only an MBA degree, but also 12 separate hands on experiences for his/her employment portfolio.
